Unless you have already agreed a collection and return appointment, please contact us to arrange your collection and return date and time. We may not be available to install your equipment if you just turn up
All hires are charged at a minimum of 7 days
All hires require payment of a security deposit to cover the cost of replacement of the equipment. We may upon prior arrangement accept an item of similar value to hold in lieu of a deposit (such as a laptop, games console, etc)
The security deposit and rental fee are payable upon installation at our address in Gravesend
Card payment is preferable but we also accept cash, PayPal and bank transfer
The security deposit will be refunded back to your card upon safe return of all equipment
All care and attention will be taken, but you are responsible for the safety of the roof box and it’s contents once fitted. Please check it regularly to ensure it remains strongly secured to the car, and call us immediately if you have any problems
All boxes and most bars are lockable but they are not infallible so it is recommended not to leave your car unattended with valuables within the box for extended periods
The security deposit covers the cost of the equipment only. Any additional insurance requirements are your responsibility. If you have any concerns, please call your insurance company or check your policy
Unless agreed upfront, all security deposits are returned in the same form as paid
Installing roof bars on some vehicles (with fixpoints) is complex and time consuming, and as such attract an additional £10 complex fitment charge
Privacy Policy
Customer data is kept for the purposes of making and tracking bookings for equipment hire only
We may keep your vehicle and contact details (name, email, phone, license plate, make, model, and year of vehicle, previous rental dates) for up to 7 years, to assist in locating the correct equipment for return bookings
If you wish for us to remove any or all of your data, please contact us at hire@gravesendroofboxhire.com and we will gladly comply
No customer data will be shared with any 3rd parties, except for the cloud hosting services which we use
All customer data is securely stored using strong authentication and encryption, and is accessible only by us
We will not contact you for reasons other than to discuss equipment hire
By providing us your data via phone, email, messaging platform or by filling in our web form, you agree to comply with the above conditions
